iH Hotels Milano St. John

Everything was almost perfect; I think the position of this hotel is absolutely gorgeous and we stayed in Milano in so many different locations, but this one is our number 1 !!! Fantastic staff, Grazie mille a voi 🙏 Room was big, new furniture with slippers for all of us, bath towels and everything that you need. Restaurants/Pizzerias everywhere.

Staff was great, very friendly ! Room was big. Our car was “sleeping” in a very good parking garage, underground. Position was more than perfect, just a 5 minutes walk from St Marelli Metro station; and from there in 15 minutes we were at Duomo.

Everything at iH Hotel St. John was above expectations. I have been using Booking.com since 15 years now, but the hospitality at this hotel was really amazing very particular. Very polity and super helpful staff, very young but long experienced and professionals, specially at the reception desk (front desk). They approved and agreed for everything we needed. A room upgrade at a large suite was a gesture of good willing showed by this amazing staff. The building was recently renovated the room was super clean, spacious, and fully equipped. The breakfast was great in every detail. The food in Italy specially the espresso coffee at the Hotel’s Bar-Restorant was typically the great famous Italian espresso. And the most important the room was very quite with a park view after o long day outside around a crowded metropolis like Milan. The Hotel was just 5-7 walking distance from the Sesto Marelli Metro Stop (Red Line 1). Just 11 subway stops from Duomo of Milan. The Hotel has it’s own excellent Bar and Restorant. But you can find amazing Coffee shops and restaurants everywhere around the Hotel.

Our stay was absolutely 1st class from start to finish. Our check-in was fuss free and our room was spacious and clean, with daily cleaning and linen change. We were made to feel welcome by every member of staff, but special mention must go to Micheal in reception and Cristiano in the bar-they were both so welcoming and professional whilst also being friendly. Breakfast was excellent-our only slight criticism being that, for a country that prides itself on its coffee, it was disappointing that we had to use a machine to obtain our coffees rather than properly prepared espressos and capucunni being available. Despite this small 1 criticism (hopefully viewed as constructive), I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The staff are helpful, and I had no difficulty communicating with them. The room was clean, new and spacious enough. The location is not the best for tourists, but the price is okay, especially for a touristy city like Milano.
